I've got the 85% copper, which produces a warmer sound. If you ever try to play a real sax, your sound and embouchure is like 70% of playing and you won't be developing that on the 120. Even if you never intend to play a real sax, the 120 is fun to learn and play.The rails might be just slightly thicker on the S+, but I didn't notice any change in the feel of the piece. The only big difference I can see between the S and S+ is the chamber. As far as sound, the S+ definitely has more body in the tone to my ears, mainly in the upper range and altissimo. The reason is simple. When you play the horn it resonates in your head, therefore you'll have to turn up a bit to hear the mix above the natural resonation. These things aren't cheap.
