PA P365 Discussion starter. 785 posts · Joined 2021. #1 · Aug 27, 2021. With the cost of 9mm these days, I would buy a P365 chambered in 22LR for some cost effective, realistic training. The gun would need to weigh the same as a 9mm P365 and have the same trigger pull. The P365 XLs grip texture is good. Better than anything I’ve tried from the factory except the S&W M&P 2.0. According to the Bore Axis table the P365 XL is on the low side. The result for me is relatively controllable recoil for such a light pistol.Doubtful SIG will make the P365 in 40, or 357 SIG, for that matter. 9 mm is the current "fave" and what's selling.
